MSI's X79 Motherboard lineup expands with the addition of an M-ATX sized X79MA-GD45 motherboard. The Complete X79 LGA 2011 Motherboard lineup from MSI was revealed and detailed by us back at the IDF 2011 event here.
The M-ATX X79MA-GD45 features the LGA 2011 socket which allows support for Intel's upcoming Sandy Bridge-E Processors. Four DDR3 DIMM slots allow for Quad Channel memory support, The board uses military class components for better stability and overclocking environments.
Expansion slots include 2 PCI-e x16 3.0 which allow for SLI and CrossfireX Multi GPU functionality along with 2 PCI-e x1 3.0 slots. Storage ports include 2 SATA 6Gbps and 4 SATA 3Gbps while I/O allows for 4 USB 3.0, 6 USB 2.0, 7.1 Channel Audio, Gigabit Ethernet, SPDIF and Clear CMOS switch.
Price tag is said to be under €200, Release date is expected along with Sandy Bridge-E launch on November 14th as detailed here.
