The Witcher 3 Switch Release Date Possibly Leaked by Czech Retailer; Releasing in September – RUMOR

The Witcher 3 Switch release date might have been leaked by a Czech retailer.

Developer CD Projekt Red and Nintendo announced the Switch version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt during this year’s E3 event. The game is releasing on Nintendo’s hybrid platform later this year, but an exact release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Well, if a listing from a Czech retailer is to be believed, this September is going to be a busy month for Switch owners as the game has been listed for a release on September 24th – other big releases that month include The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake, Daemon X Machina, Dragon Quest XI, Spyro Reignited Trilogy and FIFA20.

As with all listings from retailers, this could merely be a placeholder date as CD Projekt Red and Nintendo haven’t officially announced a release date for The Witcher 3 on the Switch.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Switch will include of all the game’s expansions and DLC. Accordting to CD Projekt Red, the Switch port will run at 720p in docked mode and 520p in portable mode with dynamic resolution enabled. The game's target framerate on the Switch is 30FPS.

Set to launch this year both digitally and in retail, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Editionfor Nintendo Switch comes with the base game, as well as every piece of additional content ever released. This includes both story expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, as well as all 16 free DLCs. In total, the Complete Edition offers over 150 hours of gameplay, for the first time playable truly on the go. The game is being ported to Nintendo Switch by Saber Interactive in close cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED.
