Sony Interactive Entertainment head Shuhei Yoshida has said to be overpowered by the graphics of Sucker Punch Productions’ upcoming PS4 exclusive, Ghost of Tsushima.

Officially announced during Sony’s Paris Games Week presentation in 2017, many fans have been mesmerized by Ghost of Tsushima’s visuals showcased in the game’s announcement and gameplay trailers. While Naughty Dog’s PS4 titles are being regarded as the best-looking titles on Sony’s console, Sucker Punch’s samurai title might very well be the game that sets the new standard for visuals on the PS4 once it releases.

As a matter of fact, if Yoshida is to be believed, Ghost of Tsushima’s graphics are so impressive that he is actually overwhelmed when he plays the game.

“Ghost of Tsushima is also great”, Yoshida said in a recent interview with Famitsu. “I’m overwhelmed by graphics. When I play with it, it is so beautiful that my hands stop. There are many scenes that make Japanese scenery 1.2 times more beautiful.”

Coming from someone who has already experienced Naughty Dog’s upcoming The Last of Us Part II, it seems that Sucker Punch’s new game is indeed going to be visually top-notch.

Ghost of Tsushima has yet to receive a release date on Sony’s console.
