After months and months of speculation, rumors, and pleading from fans, Rockstar games has finally confirmed Red Dead Redemption 2 is on it’s way to PC. We don’t have a trailer yet for the PC version of the game, but Rockstar is promising various graphical and technical enhancements for the platform, as well as “new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons and more.” Whether this new content is PC exclusive hasn’t been clarified, but presumably it’s coming to all platforms.

Pre-orders will begin at 11am ET on October 9, exclusively on the Rockstar Games Launcher, with a variety of bonuses and free Rockstar titles being offered to those who put their money down. If you pre-purchase through the Rockstar Launcher through October 22, you can choose two of the following six games as bonus gifts:

Rockstar is promising to deliver more information about the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, including system requirements, details about new features, and first screenshots, when pre-orders open on October 9. Until then, I guess you’re just going to have to imagine what the game might look like on your computer. Mmmm, that's real purdy.

Red Dead Redemption 2 moseys onto PC (and Google Stadia) on November 5. Pre-orders will also be available via the Epic Games Store, Humble Store, GameStop, Green Man Gaming, and other online retailers on October 23. Oh, and don’t worry, RDR2 will be available via Steam as of December – no word yet on when Steam pre-orders will go live. So, who out there’s been holding out? Excited to finally get in on the action?
