The Android 10 beta for some Samsung devices is due soon and should be available to users in certain regions in the coming days. Based on an earlier report, it was supposed to drop sometime in early October, so the timing checks out. As expected, the software will first make its way to devices based in South Korea. Other regions are expected to follow suit shortly after. The announcement comes via Samsung's official channels (via Sammobile). It's in Korean, but tell us all we need to know. Based on last year's teasers, we can expect the program to start in the coming week, at the latest.
Which devices are eligible for the Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 beta?
As expected, Samsung's Android 10 fork is called OneUI 2.0, and it builds upon existing OneUI elements. This is probably the lingering question on everyone's mind; is my device eligible for participation in the beta program? The official listing only lists the Galaxy S10 series for now. Galaxy Note 10 users need not worry, though. Last year's Galaxy Note 9 was included in the Android Pie beta program, and we see no reason why Samsung will exclude its successor. We can also expect last year's Galaxy S9 and Note 9 series to join in on the fun, albeit at a much later time. Here's the complete list of devices that should be eligible for the Android 10 beta.

Additionally, the 5G variants of the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 are not a part of the program at the moment. They will likely receive a finished build after their non-5G counterparts. For the dozen-odd people that actually bought the Galaxy Fold, you're out of luck. Samsung's foldable gimmick is not a part of the program, as well.
How to sign up to be a beta tester
The procedure to enroll in the Android 10 One UI 2.0 beta hasn't changed compared to last year. Head over to the Samsung Members app (Samsung+ in the US) and look for a notification about the upcoming Android 10 software beta. Click on it and follow the on-screen instructions. Once the program goes live, you'll receive an OTA update that'll bump your phone up to Android 10. Based on my experiences, the slots for these things fill up fast, so its best that you keep checking the Samsung Members app right away and register yourself.
