Here's how you can make fonts bigger on iPhone 11 Pro Max for better legibility. This also increases the UI element size too.

Display Looks too Tight to Read? Make Fonts on iPhone 11 Pro Max Bigger and Better

Apple really stepped up their game this year with the iPhone 11 Pro lineup with the inclusion of a new Super Retina XDR. It's a display that can hit crazy high peak brightness levels for an amazing HDR experience. But the display really, really shines on the iPhone 11 Pro Max where you get a larger canvas for checking out content. Therefore nothing seems squeezed in at all.

However, if you feel that everything looks a tad bit tiny, then there is an option within iOS 13 that will make fonts on iPhone 11 Pro Max bigger and far more readable. But not only the fonts get a size bump, even the UI elements appear bigger than before. Essentially, you make your iPhone 11 Pro Max look like an iPhone 11 Pro in terms of UI, which is nice, if you have issues reading stuff without squinting your eyes.

Pick up your iPhone 11 Pro Max right now, and we will show you how you can make everything look nice and big on that gorgeous Super Retina XDR. It will only take a moment or two.

Note: This does not work on other iPhone 11 models. Instead, you have the option of increasing text size without touching anything else. You can do this by going to Settings > Display & Brightness > Text Size. Move the slider towards the right to make things nice and large. Refer to the screenshot below for further help.

In fact, if it's just text size you want to increase and nothing else, then this method will feel right at home on your iPhone 11 Pro Max as well.

Step 1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Step 2. Scroll down a little and you will see an option called Display & Brightness. Tap on it to open.

Step 3. Now scroll all the way down and you'll see an option called Display Zoom. Right underneath it is just one entry called View. Tap on it to open.

Step 4. Here you have two options to tinker around with. By default it's set to Standard, if you didn't change it in the initial setup of your iPhone. So, tap on Zoomed.

Step 5. Once you have made your selection, tap on Set at the top right hand corner. Then tap on Select Zoomed.

Step 6. Your iPhone 11 Pro Max will do a quick restart and everything will look nice and big. Don't worry, it's not a full-blown restart therefore you will jump right into action in mere seconds.

The only downside of doing of this is: while you do get nice and big UI elements along with fonts, but you do lose some space for viewing more content on the display. This means that webpages will look slightly tighter in Safari, you won't see as many message threads in the Messages app, and long lists will look slightly shorter than before. But the upside is fairly obvious: better legibility and everything else will feel far more comfortable to interact with.

You can always revert this change by going to Settings > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom - View > Select Standard.

Here's a quick comparison of what you can expect once you do make the change. It might not look like much, but trust me, it makes the world of a difference in everyday usage.

On the home screen itself, the changes might not be that evident at all. But once you start digging into menus, you'll noticed that everything is nice and loose, with the obvious downside being less space for content. If you are fine with that this feature is definitely for you.
