Modern Warfare got the official PC system requirements yesterday. However, Infinity Ward did not provide the requirements for the NVIDIA RTX version of the game, which will provide improved graphics thanks to the addition of real-time raytraced shadows.
The developers have now shared the raytracing system requirements that will let you target 1080p@60FPS or 4K@60FPS gameplay in Modern Warfare. Check out the table below.

As previously announced, there's also support for the NVIDIA Adaptive Shading technique, available to gamers packing Turing GTX or RTX graphics cards. NVIDIA Adaptive Shading was already featured in Wolfenstein Youngblood, improving performance by up to 15%.
Additionally, NVIDIA and Infinity Ward revealed that NVIDIA Ansel and NVIDIA Highlights will be available at launch for all NVIDIA users.
- NVIDIA Ansel: In the single-player campaign, press Alt+F2 to capture unique NVIDIA Ansel screenshots, from custom angles, and with filters and other tweaks applied. Snap, upload to ShotWithGeForce and other sites, and share with just a few clicks.
- NVIDIA Highlights: In multiplayer, let NVIDIA Highlights capture your best moments. Multi-kills, kill trades, kill streaks, equipment impact kills, and more will automatically be recorded and saved for post-match editing and sharing via YouTube, social media, and other sites.
Lastly, the developers confirmed that the 175GB of free hard drive space requirement is actually a recommendation to make room for post-launch content, as the initial download will be smaller than that.
