If customers were awaiting the arrival of a premium wireless audio experience in the form of an Apple product, there’s excellent news for you. The company has officially launched its AirPods Pro and while the ‘Pro’ moniker gave away that they are more expensive than the regular version, there are several reasons for it, as you’ll soon find out.

Thanks to the new and improved design, Apple’s AirPods Pro now feature Active Noise Cancellation coupled with immersive sound that provides stellar audio experience to the wearer. Apple’s Phil Schiller states that the new product comes with flexible ear tips that can comfortably slide into the ear, making them difficult to come off and if you’re still having trouble fitting them in, there are three ear tips provided for different ear sizes. The Adaptive EQ will automatically tune music to suit the shape of your ear for a rich, consistent listening experience.

There is another feature called Transparency mode, in which the wearer is able to listen in on his/her surroundings. Like the previous iterations, the new AirPods Pro ship with Apple’s custom H1 chip, delivering low latency. A force sensor present on the stem of each earphone makes it a seamless experience when you want to control music and switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode at any time. These AirPods Pro are also IPX4 sweat and water-resistant, giving them an extra layer of protection.

As for battery life, Apple claims that its AirPods Pro can deliver up to four and a half hours of listening time and up to three and a half hours of talk time on a single charge. Additional charges can be obtained via the Wireless Charging Case and using this, users can experience over 24 hours of listening time and 18 hours of talk time with the AirPods Pro. For added convenience, you can charge Apple’s latest product by simply putting them in the wireless charging case and placing the case on a Qi-certified wireless charging mat or connecting it via the Lightning port.

Like always, pairing to your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, iPod touch, and Apple TV is as simple as opening up the charging case, avoiding the painful hassle that Bluetooth-powered audio peripheral owners have to face consistently.

AirPods Pro Price, Availability, Color Options & Additional Details

As for availability, Apple states that the new AirPods will be available on October 30 for $249. Sadly, the rumor in which the AirPods Pro would arrive in a multitude of finishes; that part was incorrect. Apple is selling the latest product in white only.

Apple also states that to pair the AirPods Pro, owners will need to be running iOS 13.2 or later, iPadOS 13.2 or later, watchOS 6.1 or later, tvOS 13.2 or later, or macOS Catalina 10.15.1 or later.
