AirPods Pro Ear Tip Fit Test

Apple has created a cool new feature in AirPods Pro called Ear Tip Fit Test, which helps users identify the best ear tips size for them. This feature uses microphones inside the AirPods, and sound output from the drivers, and uses algorithms to suggest if the fit is right or whether you need to change the tip.

Why do you need to use this the ear tip fit test? A better fit will provide better sound quality, deeper bass and rich lows for your music, along with the best noise cancellation, because the feature helps to create the best seal with the right ear tip size.

Unlike features like active noise cancellation and transparency mode, which can be enabled from any platform that the AirPods Pro are connected to, Ear Tip Fit Test only works from iOS or iPadOS devices. Here is how you can use it to get the best experience out of your AirPods Pro (or AirPod Pros?).

Use Ear Tip Fit Test to Select The Best AirPods Pro Ear Tips Size

AirPods Pro ship with three different in-ear tip sizes. This helps in customizing them for the right fit for each ear shape. Apple has also considered that some people might require different ear tip sizes for each ear, and the app also helps to identify such situations.

Make sure that the AirPods Pro are already connected to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch before proceeding.

Even though the test app, and the small size of AirPods Pro, make this process seem very simple, it is far from it. Using complex algorithms and internal microphones, Apple provides a quick and easy way to help you get the best out of your AirPods.
