Note: You must have Instagram downloaded and logged in for this to work. You also need a fully working Apple Music subscription on your iPhone, but you already knew that, didn’t you?

Tutorial

Step 1. Launch the Music app.

Step 2. Play any song which you want to share as a Story on Instagram.

Step 3. Tap on the three dots right next to the artist name and song to bring up more options.

Step 4. Tap on Share.

Step 5. In the row of apps to which you can share the song to, find Instagram. If it’s not showing up, tap on the More button at the end of row of options.

Step 6. The Music app will now turn the now playing song into a Story and then you can share it straight to Instagram. Pretty neat, right?

Remember, this sharing feature is exclusive to iOS 13.5 and above. If you are running any other version of the firmware below 13.5, then you can’t use this feature at all.
