Apple’s latest beta for iPhone and iPad is packed with new features and changes. But the biggest change sits with users of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Once downloaded and installed, you get access to what Apple is calling ApplePro RAW. It’s the company’s take on shooting RAW images, giving you amazing flexibility when it comes to editing.

But the problem is, iOS 14.3 and iPadOS 14.3 are both currently in beta and won’t arrive for public to download anytime soon. However, if you take the public beta route, you can download the new update absolutely free on your compatible iPhone or iPad, allowing you to take the new features for a spin instantly.

Before you do that, please make sure that you have backed up everything to a safe and secure location either using iCloud, Finder or iTunes. Tutorial

Step 1. Open the following website using your iPhone or iPad: beta.apple.com

Step 2. On the top right hand corner, you should see a link called ‘Sign in’ so tap on it

Step 3. Enter your Apple ID and password when asked for it. It has to be the same ID you are using on your current iPhone and iPad

Step 4. Accept the license agreement

Step 5. Now select Enroll Your Devices

Step 6. Tap on either iOS or iPadOS, depending on what you want to install on your device

Step 7. Scroll down and tap on the ‘Download profile’ button

Step 8. Grant the necessary permission and restart your device when asked for it

Step 9. Once rebooted, connect to Wi-Fi, navigate to Settings > General > Software Update

Step 10. Tap on Download and Install once the update shows up

That’s it, just let the update download and it will install on its own. Once everything is complete, you can start using your iPhone and iPad like you normally would. If you are an iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro Max user, you can check out the new ApplePro RAW feature as well.
