TerraMaster recently launched the TerraMaster U12-722-2224, a 12-bay rackmount storage solution for business enterprises. The TerraMaster U12 offers a vast amount of scalability in their cloud storage server solution. TerraMaster created the U12 to meet the needs of virtual enterprise solutions, highly intensive data applications, and continuity of services.
The TerraMaster U12 series is a wonderful solution for business cloud servers, allowing for multiple users utilizing storage and sharing of documents with efficiency and ease. It showcases an updated processor that supports up to a quad-core Intel Xeon E-2224G processor with 3.5GHz and three megabyte cache, eight gigabytes of DDR4 memory, with the capability of being upgraded to a maximum of 64GBs. TerraMaster also offers 4Gb network interfaces on the U12 rackmount server. The TerraMaster U12 also offers two PCIe X16 Gen3 slots, offering users the option to upgrade to 10GBe NIC (2 SFP + ports) and RAID cards, and offer the capability to upgrade and configure both the memory and CPU to increase performance for whatever needs are required.
The TerraMaster U12 series server is capable of delivering up to 3000 megabytes per second over 500000 IOPS. The U12 also supports Link Aggregation for uninterrupted transmission of data. TerraMaster includes an enterprise version of their TerraMaster TOS software, offering advanced security options and ease-of-use account management with the ability to adjust security options per user account with allowing storage space efficiency. When something happens on the u12 server, managers will be alerted so that they can stay informed of the status of the server at all times. TerraMaster U12 series also supports AE256-bit encryption, as well as various firewall options to keep documents safe on the server.
TerraMaster's TOS operating system offers a large array of applications for professionals to utilize, such as file and mail servers, Internet servers covering web, VPN, DHCP, DNS, Rsync remote access, FTP, and MySQL server options.
