Share Lists Using Reminders App

Note: Please make sure that the Reminders toggle switch is turned on and it is working with iCloud. You can make sure by going to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud and check the Reminders switch. Make sure it's turned on.

Step 1. Launch the Reminders app from your Home Screen.

Step 2. You can either share an existing list with someone or create a new one if you like. If you want to create a new list which you want to share, tap on the 'Add List' button on the bottom right hand corner, give it a name, choose a color and then tap on Done on the top right.

Step 3. Now tap and hold on the list name and then tap on Share List.

Step 4. You now have a bunch of options through which you can share this list with anyone to join and edit. For the sake of this guide I'm using the Messages option. You can choose any option you like.

Step 5. Once the request has been sent and accepted on the other end, the name of the person will appear under the list. You can obviously share the list with multiple people if you like.

Want to un-share the list? Here's how you do it.

Step 1. Tap and hold on the shared list and then tap on Manage Shared List.

Step 2. You can either remove individual people from the list by swiping left on them and then tap on 'Remove' or you can stop sharing the list altogether by tapping on Stop Sharing. It's entirely your choice.

You've now mastered the art of sharing a list using the Reminders app using your iPhone or iPad. Of course, the shared lists will appear on your Mac as well, because you know, "ecosystem."
