Your computer’s DNS cache can sometimes result in issues with internet connectivity. A quick way to fix such issues is to clear cookies and cache and flush DNS. It is okay if you don’t understand what this means because, in this tutorial, I will show you how to flush DNS on Windows 11 PCs. The process is very straightforward and won’t take very long.

DNS Cache

You must be wondering what a DNS cache is and what flushing it really means. DNS or Domain Network Server translates domains into IP addresses. It is essentially what identifies your system and allows computers to connect. Whatever you look up on the internet, your system will save the information on your PC. This is the DNS cache.

DNS cache can become corrupted at times and then cause issues with internet connectivity. This cache is stored in the system memory, and every time you restart your PC, the system memory is cleared. So, the fastest way to resolve a connectivity issue is to restart your system. If, however, you don’t want to restart your system, you can manually flush the DNS.
