It has only been a few days since Google released the Android 12L for all supported devices and if you are wondering how to install Android 12 on supported Pixel devices, you are at the right place as we are going to start focusing on the tutorial.

Before you begin, it is important to know that the update is built for large screen and foldable devices. There are not a lot of changes under the hood aside from some minor visual changes but at the core, Android 12L and Android 12 are a lot more similar than one would think.

Manually Install Android 12L on Your Google Pixel Phones

For those worried, the process is more or less the same as it has always been. You do have to boot into recovery mode and then follow the instructions. But hey, we are here to help you so you can get started right away. So, without further ado, let's install Android 12L on your device.

Step 1: The first thing that you need to do is download the Android 12L factory zip. You can find the zips for your phone here.

Step 2: Once that is done, you have to boot your phone into recovery mode by turning it off and then pressing and holding the power and volume down button together, this should take you to the bootloader page.

Step 3: Now, scroll down to the recovery mode and select it using the power button. You will be taken to a new screen now, press and hold the volume button and press the volume up button.

Step 4: Now release the volume up button and then the power button.

Step 5: Utilize the volume button and scroll down to Apply update from ADB and then select that using the power button.

Step 6: Connect your Pixel phone to your computer and be sure that you have ADB and fastboot installed. If not, then follow this guide.

Step 7: Open the command prompt in the folder where you have put the zip file.

Step 8: Now type in adb sideload and press enter.

Step 9: Type in the name of the zip file you downloaded and hit enter.

Step 10: The zip file will start sideloading and once you are done, your phone will go back into recovery mode. Reboot your phone from there and you are all set.
