Disney Dreamlight Valley is full of quests, missions, and daily challenges that reward you with plenty of items, Dreamlight, Friendship points, and much more. However, not all of them give you money, so you must perform side activities to earn Star Coins, the in-game currency for this world of magic. Money in Dreamlight Valley often comes in handy, as you can use it to buy new furniture for your house, craft resources, power up certain items, and much more. Remove Night Thorns
When you first start playing Dreamlight Valley, Merlin will ask you to remove the Night Thorns inside your house. You can press the corresponding button on your keyboard or controller to perform this simple action. As you explore the Valley, you will notice that the Night Thorns are scattered across the whole area, which can also be removed. You will consume a small percentage of your Energy each time you cut them off, but it can be quickly restored by entering your house or eating a meal. Most of the time, when you remove Night Thorns, you will see some Star Coins spawning near you. Collect them and repeat this task until you are done.
Catch Fish and Sell It
You will obtain the Fishing Rod early in the game as part of The Royal Tools quest. Once you have this item, you can go to any small pond you see in the Village near Goofy’s house and start fishing. As you progress in Dreamlight Valley, you will unlock other fishing locations. Try to get as many fish as possible, and aim at the ripples to ensure you get something good, not just seaweeds. Then, you can either cook the fish as part of a recipe or sell it to Goofy’s Stall. You can access the Collection menu to see how many Star Coins you will receive upon selling each fish and decide if it is worth cooking or taking it to the Stall. Breack Rocks and Mine Gems
You can use your pickaxe to break rocks scattered around the Valley and make some money with gems. These precious items are obtained randomly, meaning a gemstone is not granted every time you use your pickaxe on a rock. They are also quite rare, but when you find one and sell it, you will be rewarded with a good amount of money. The most precious gems can be sold for more than 1,000 Star Coins. You will always find some rocks to break as they regenerate with time. This is one of the best ways to make money fast in Dreamlight Valley, as you will probably find some gems every day.
Cook Meals and Sell Them
The An Important Night at the Restaurant quest will introduce you to Remy and many great dishes, such as the Ratatouille. You will learn how to cook it with the help of this little chef, and once back in the Valley, you will be able to replicate the meals you have just learned. You can check the Collection menu to find all the recipes you have unlocked so far, along with the starting price for selling them. If you have not placed the stove in your house yet, you can head to any character’s house, such as Mickey Mouse’s, and cook using his tools. You only need to bring the ingredients you need with you, and once done, you can sell the dish at Goofy’s Stall. Once you have learned a good amount of recipes, you will make Star Coins fast in Dreamlight Valley with this method.
Sell Foraged Items
You will find different items, fruits, and berries you can pick up and sell as you explore the Valley. These also include flowers, such as the Dandelion, or herbs, like Oregano and Basil. Fruits can be found on trees, and Apples are pretty popular in the Village. Raspberries are scattered around the Valley, as well. If you don’t need these items, you can sell them to Goofy’s Stall and obtain some Star Coins in no time.
