Gotham Knights

Gotham Knights is an action RPG set in an open-world and dynamic Gotham City, developed by WB Games Montréal. In the game, however, Batman has just died, and it is now up to Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin to protect the city from villains and criminals. The game features many interesting mechanics, which we have analyzed in our review. It also gives the player many opportunities to perform side activities and quests along the main storyline, so it might feel a little overwhelming initially. Nevertheless, we have put together five valuable tips to help you get started with Gotham Knights.

Practice at the Belfry’s Training Area

The Training Area at the Belfry is a great resource you should not overlook. It gives you a safe place to practice combat fundamentals, teaches you how to use Momentum Abilities, and helps you master the most advanced fighting techniques. Take some time to complete most, if not all, of the available training, as you will learn valuable information that will improve your adventure in Gotham Knights, such as performing timed strikes in combat or the best ways to gain Momentum during fights.

Complete Your Knighthood Challenges

Knighthood Abilities come in handy multiple times, and they can only be unlocked by completing Knighthood Challenges. They can be found in your quest menu, giving you access to the fourth skill tree upon completion. Knighthood Abilities are unique to each character, meaning you need to perform specific activities with every member of the Batman family. These Abilities add a whole new layer of skills that are too valuable just to be left off for a later stage. Moreover, they also give you access to new movement options for your heroes, which you would regret not having unlocked earlier.

Don’t Forget to Craft New Equipment

As you progress in the game, you will be able to craft new gear that can be equipped for your heroes. You will find Blueprints and crafting materials as you patrol Gotham by night and do your missions, and you will be able to use them by interacting with the Belfry’s Workbench. Alternatively, you can start crafting directly from the Gear menu. You can create new Suits, Melee, and Ranged weapons that, once equipped, will enhance your stars. You can also provide Mods to your preferred Gear to strengthen their stats. Crafting materials can be obtained upon defeating enemies.

Health Packs Refill at the Belfry

When you first start playing Gotham Knights, you might get worried about finishing most, if not all, Health Packs during your patrol. If that happens, however, it should not be a huge problem. They automatically refill when you complete your patrol and return to the Belfry. Every night you will have all your Health Packs ready to be used during missions and side activities. Sometimes, enemies might also drop a Health Pack when defeated.

Use AR often

Each hero can use AR to highlight enemies and valuable items nearby. This option will provide important information about everything that surrounds you and show where chests are located, where felonies are happening, and which criminals are the informants and can be interrogated. AR will also help you during many missions, as you will be busy resolving puzzles and finding clues for your investigations.

There are many different activities that you can carry on in Gotham, giving you many hours to explore the city alongside the main storyline. You will soon find other guides on Gotham Knights on Wccftech, so stay tuned!
