Mystery PlayStation Ad Appears On Japanese Trains

Sony's latest handheld, the PS Vita, is getting a lot of love from it's parents and third party developers. Ubisoft will release Assassin's Creed: Liberation alongside the entrée, Assassin's Creed III, while Activision is bringing the fight to the Vita with Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified. But it seems that Sony has something else stored up it's sleeve as well.

Nightmares, anyone?

These posters can be found on Tokyo's Yamanote train line and features Shigeru Matsuzaki on it with a tiny PlayStation logo in the upper left corner. Sony told Japanese press that these ads will continue till the 28th, on the Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Akihabara, Shimbashi, Tokyo and Shinagawa Stations as well, followed by an announcement. The ad does not specifically focuses on Vita but it is probable that the announcement will concern the Vita since 28th is a big day for Vita as MGS HD Collection and the Crystal White colored Vita will be released that day.

Shigeru Matsuzaki is a Japanese actor and has worked in a number of movies and animes, so he might be lending his voice to a game or he might be starting an advertisement campaign similar to Kevin Butler's. But so far, the actual announcement is totally hush-hush and we have no idea what it might be.
