At QuakeCon 2023, Bethesda and AMD announced the Starfield themed Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards. Only 500 of those were produced with the goal of giving them away instead of selling them.

One Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU was utilized by modder modsbyben to create a gorgeous custom-made Starfield PC. In the video's description, the modder said:

AMD contacted me to work on an amazing project with Bethesda to create a custom 1-1 computer to be featured at QuakeCon in the theme of their new video game release for Starfield. I wanted the computer to feel as if it was a part of the game environment. In the game, you can design your own spaceship, and that was the concept behind this build.

During the video, Ben shared more about his inspiration for this Starfield PC.

I wanted to build something inspired by the game which was Starfield and Starfield is based on sci-fi, outer space, with many different planets, and so forth. I wanted to be inspired by that and create a machine that actually will fit into the actual game. My goal was to create a PC mod for AMD and also Starfield, so the whole idea was to actually build something down. It's almost like I'm building my own spaceship craft machine, and I just wanted to get some inspiration from their side of the Starfield world, from their models, their environments and stuff. I didn't want to grab something from the game and just make that as a mod, I really wanted to get bits and pieces and apply it to the actual PC so it becomes a mesh of my style and also their style for this PC.

It's too bad there's no way to purchase this incredibly cool custom made Starfield PC, but there are other licensed accessories that you can get, such as the Xbox wireless controller and the Xbox wireless headset.

The excitement around Starfield is at an all-time high now that we are just a couple of weeks ahead of launch (formally scheduled for September 6th, but owners of the Premium Edition can start playing on September 1st). Some fans have been a bit antsy due to the lack of any gold status announcement from Bethesda, but Head of Publishing Pete Hines reassured them with a tweet last Friday.

The game is currently the fourth best-selling product on Steam after Baldur's Gate 3, the Steam Deck, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, despite the well-known fact that it will be available on day one to all Game Pass subscribers. In two days, Bethesda will host a developer Q&A on its Constellation Discord channels. Meanwhile, get up to speed with everything there is to know about Starfield by reading our roundup article.
