Assassin's Creed III is an upcoming historical action-adventure open world stealth video game being developed and published by Ubisoft. Assassin's Creed III will release for PS3,Xbox 360,PC and Wii U and will be the fifth major installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise and the third numbered title in the franchise. The game is set to hit the shelves on October 30, 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. However, there's still no release date for the Wii U version. Ubisoft said that Assassin's Creed III will be the biggest installment in the franchise;

Work on Assassin's Creed III began immediately after the release of Assassin's Creed II in 2009 by senior developers at Ubisoft. The game has been in development for 4 years, it also has the longest development period since the first Assassin's Creed III.

Assassin's Creed III will take place in Colonial America. The war between Assassins and Templars has become involved in the American Revolution. Players will step into the boots of Connor Kenway, half-English and half-Native American. In the whole game, players will come across historical figures like George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Lee, Israel Putnam, Paul Revere, General Lafayette, John Pitcairn, William Prescott, King George III, Samuel Adams and Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben. The story will have 30 years of Connor's life, from 1753 to 1783. Players will be able to explore Boston and New York.

As a huge fan of Assassin's Creed franchise, I'm really looking forward to it. As always, Ubisoft won't disappoint. Let's see what future holds for Assassin's Creed III. Gamers can get their hands on the game in October, later this year.
