Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has appeared with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition and has also been updated via a ROM on standard Galaxy S4 with Snapdragon chip. But do we need to get excited for the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean? What features have been included in this version of Jelly Bean and have there been any improvements with old issues? Let's go through the updates of the latest Android 4.3.

Since Google has not officially launched the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update yet, not much information can be retrieved. However, based on the information found from various resources, here is an overview of the features expected with the final release.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean features list:

  • Camera featuring a 360 degree panoramic view.
  • Better video conferencing capabilities.
  • Bluetooth Smart support.
  • and other minor improvements

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is the latest jelly bean version after the Android 4.2.2, that was released in November last year with some minor improvements. The major improvements and tweaks expected from the latest version of Android include: camera with a 360 degree panorama option along with a better API and Bluetooth Smart support. This will make Android phones compatible with devices like fitness trackers, e.g. FitbitFlex and Pebble Watch. Expected from Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is also better video conferencing since currently Android users can only use Google Hangouts or third-party apps such as Skype or Tango.

These are some of the major improvements expected from the latest Android 4.3. Though we aren't sure about how much can Google meet up to these expectations. As reported in the past, from last few months it was speculated that the new Android update would be named Key Lime Pie releasing as Android 5. But as seen, Android has been kept up under the 4 tag as yet. Hence we not be seeing all the major improvements with this latest Jelly Bean update. Lets hope that Android 5 is around the corner, and that official release of Android 4.3 brings some solid updates.
