Pichai Hosting Next Google Event 2013 on July 24 – Nexus Announcement?

The latest industry news is roaming around about the next Google event. Google has started sending out invitations for the event that would be held on July 14 in San Francisco. The invitation isn't telling anything about what the event would be, but that wouldn't stop us from speculating, right! The scheduled event will be hosted by Android and Chrome vice president at Google, Sundar Pichai.

Many of the news and speculation bits are focusing on announcement of the next generation Google Nexus 7, following the consistent rumors and leaks of the Nexus, it looks quite plausible that the event's highlight would be around the Nexus device.

However, there is a good chance of this next Google event 2013 being about the announcement of Moto X, but if that had been the case, it would have been Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside hosting the event rather than Mr. Pichai. There is quite a possibility of this event going for an official announcement of the next version of Android too. We are not though hoping to see Android 5.0 - Key Lime Pie right now- but the incremental Android 4.3 since it has been seen in the Google Play edition phones. The next Android 5.0 is most likely to be released with Nexus 5 or perhaps Nexus 10 in fall this year.

Whatever the event is going to be about, team WccfTech will try to keep you updated with all the latest news and updates from the event. The Google/Android event is scheduled to begin at 12PM EST. The show will be live streamed at the event's YouTube channel.
