Intel Ivy Bridge-EP Xeon 2697 V2 Benchmarks.

Tom’s Hardware puts the Intel Ivy Bridge-EP Xeon 2697 V2 to the test against Sandy Bridge-EP, Ivy Bridge-E, Haswell, Ivy Bridge, Sandy Bridge, Sandy Bridge-E, AMD Vishera and Trinity processor. The Intel Ivy Bridge-EP performs marvelously at some tasks while it is only just ahead in others. The reason is reasonably simple to guess at, the non EP processors are well optimized to the task of gaming so are able to catchup in the Benches concerning the same, however the Intel Ivy Bridge-EP series is optimized for everything, mostly HPC and Computation Tasks.  The Intel Ivy Bridge-EP Xeon 2697 V2 also offers unbelievable power efficency.

For the rest of the performance of the Intel Ivy Bridge-EP Xeon 2697 V2, let the benchmarks speak for themselves:
