Ubisoft unveiled their new title The Division at E3 2013 in June which was met with positive response from the gaming world. The game which is an open world online role playing game is set in New York City which has now been devastated from a viral outbreak during a black Friday sale.
Ubisoft's Next-Gen The Division Confirmed For PC
When the game was originally revealed, it was titled as a next generation console only experience while Ubisoft later asked PC gamers to show interest for the game. It looks like PC gamers have spoken up and Ubisoft have announced that the game would be heading to the PC platform as well which is a good thing, i mean why shouldn't the developers focus on the PC as the lead platform or release titles on it now when the difference between hardware on both the consoles and PC has been minimized to such a great extent with the arrival of x86 architectures on both fronts.
Ubisoft has told in their The Division: PC Announcement trailer that the game would still be the first grade experience as is going to be on the consoles meaning that the game won't be a straight out port which is another plus.
We never got to take a look at the game after it was showcased back at E3 2013 but now that its coming to the PC, we will keep you in the row with the latest updates regarding The Division from Ubisoft. The game which is set in New York would feature a dynamic open world in a true online RPG experience. The main character would be part of the "Strategic Homeland Division (SHD) or the Division in short who will protect what remains of the world in fights against AI, other online players and challenges. The game arrives on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Q4 2014.
