Google has rolled out an update for its social networking application Google+ for iPad and iPhone. This latest 4.6 version introduces new tweaks, design updates for notifications screen, and the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. [Read: Official Update for AT&T Moto X to Android 4.4 KitKat!] Among the most highlighted latest features introduced in this version of Google+ for iOS 7 are full-resolution photo backup (for iOS users only) feature, and location sharing capabilities.
The new location sharing feature which also enables you to see your friends is actually in mirror with Apple's Find My Friends app. Find My Friend too was recently updated. Another major update is the inclusion of backup feature of full-resolution photos. You can also upload full quality photos and videos to your Google+ galleries. If you enable this feature in your Google+ for iOS app, you can also retrieve / backup the original quality images and videos. Not the resized ones with bad quality.
