The Galaxy S5 will release with a big bang for sure, but what mysteries will lie the  metal chassis is uncertain at this point. Many interesting concepts have wowed the public and it will be to Samsung's advantage to release a phone similar to one of the concept Galaxy S5.

Display

The Display is touted to be an AMOLED for sure, also the resolution will be higher than the current 1080p of the S4. 2560 x 1440 is the best guess we have right now. According to some rumors, the screen size will be either 5.2" or 5.3", A 5"+ screen can be taken for granted.

Chipset & Hardware

Samsung cannot stand a challenge from Apple, as is evident from the animosity between the two tech giants. The recent 64 bit ARMv8 carrying A7 chipset blows the competition out of the water, with the Galaxy S5 Samsung is hoping to release its own 64 bit chip.

Samsung will most probably follow a two-prong method, using an exynos and the latest Snapdragon chip in two different versions. The Ram is rumored to be 4 GB, again this is an assumption. The Snapdragon 805 is not a 64 bit chip (Physical Address Extension) 4 GB may be possible on the S5.

Update : The Galaxy S5 will come with a metal body. This news just in, that the company which made the metal chassis for the HTC ONE and the iPad Mini will make the metal body of the Galaxy S5.

Camera

There are many theories about the camera, the most agreeable one says that the S5 will sport a 16 MegaPixel camera. OIS ( Optical Image Stabilization) has become a necessity in smartphones. To compensate for the small sensor and the tiny lens, OIS cancels out blurriness and allows a longer exposure time for a better picture. OIS may be the main feature of the camera the S5 will utilize.

The Galaxy S5 is rumored to enter production late this month, that will mean that it's availability can be expected around late January-Early March.
