Samsung equipped the latest Galaxy Note 4 with a 3,220 mAh battery - only 20 mAh improvement over last year's Note. Considering the Quad HD display of the phablet, the battery life was a crucial point for any consumer. Everyone was rather disappointed in the battery details then and expected little out of it. Turns out, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 exceeds everyone's expectations by rocking the tests and getting significantly better scores than its own predecessor and its contemporaries including iPhone 6 Plus, HTC One M8, and LG G3.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 clocked 8 hours and 43 minutes in this battery face-off taking a noticeable lead over its primary competitors. Compared with its own predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 itself did only 6 hours and 8 minutes. This battery face-off was conducted by the folks at Phone Arena who ran a script with varying loads in an attempt to replicate real-life, continuous usage setting the screen brightness to 200 nits. 
Not only did the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 proved to be a trustworthy companion for lasting longer than expected, it is also able to charge itself fairly quickly. The chart shows how Galaxy Note 4 battery gets to full juice in just 95 minutes with LG G3 being the closest follower taking 2 hours for a full charge. 
While we had already seen Samsung Galaxy Note 4 battery taking accolades for its loyalty and giving out more than was earlier expected, the latest results strengthen Samsung's claim of quick charging and reliable battery even more. So don't worry to get yourself a brilliant new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 if your only concern was its battery as it would last you some 9 hours of on-screen time and a day and a half if you go the normal usage route.
