With the launch of the Nexus 9, HTC and Google changed the way tablets perform and run applications. The Nexus 9 came with the Tegra K1, capable of delivering desktop grade performance on a tablet. Well, looks like this isn't the only feature that's going to set the Nexus 9 apart from the competition since the manufacturer is now making the Nexus 9 available for only $199.

By the looks of things, looks like folks over at HTC are looking to get out as many Nexus 9 devices as possible. The tablet is available for $199 through HTC's sale channels and not through Google's Play Store or through Best Buy. For $199, the 16 GB Nexus 9 is a must have for anyone looking to upgrade their tablets.

The Nexus 9 sale is part of HTC's Hot Deals promotion which starts this Tuesday and will continue at every Tuesday for the next two months or nine weeks. All those who have already purchased the Nexus 9 at its full price are in for some bad news though. There is no way that you can get your money back. But by the looks of things, several people were able to lay their hands on the Nexus 9 today, since HTC is now out of stock. But don't give up hope yet. The company promises that it'll be back soon with new offers for all those that missed out today.

For those still wondering whether to purchase the Nexus 9, the device comes with Nvidia's Tegra K1 with two denver cores on board. The Dual Core Denver K1 is 64 bit and can achieve frequencies of up to 2.5 GHz. Not to mention the 192 GPU cores which enable desktop grade performance on the device as mentioned above. The Nexus 9 also comes running Android 5.0 with its Material Design and device integration features. At $199, the device is a must have. Lets hope HTC has something new or even better in stock for us.
