Manage And Create User Accounts On Android Lollipop Quickly And Easily

Google's Android Lollipop comes with several impressive features on board. One of these is the ability to manage several devices and user accounts at the same time. Android Lollipop's user account feature is quite similar to the one found on Windows.

Not only does the operating system let you manage several user accounts at the same time, it also lets you to add a guest account, which lets  a third person use your device with ease and alleviate your privacy concerns at the same time. So for those of you who need a quick tutorial on how to manage multiple user accounts on their device, we have just the thing for you. So lets start.

Tap On Your Profile Icon.

To open up Settings to manage multiple user accounts on Android Lollipop, start by tapping on your profile icon in notification center. The Profile icon is the circular icon on the top right shown in white in the image above.

Tap On Add User.

The next step is to tap on the Add User option shown below all the accounts that you have running on your device. After you tap on Add User, Android Lollipop will ask you for confirmation and inform you that setting up a new account requires space on your device. A new user added will also be able to mange apps for all other existing users on your device, so keep this in mind before creating a new account.

Set Up Now.

To finish the process, tap on Set Up Now and you're done with the process. But don't just finish the process here. You can also choose whether your new user can make calls and send text messages from your device.

Manage Calls/Text Messages.

To control access for phone calls and text messages for the new user account that you have just set up, tap on the Settings icon next to the user profile icon in the User accounts area on Android Lollipop. The icon has been highlighted in red for you. This will open up a new menu on your device.

Grant Access/Remove User.

Granting access to phone calls and text messages is simply a matter of tapping the right icon now. You can also remove your latest added user on Android Lollipop by simply tapping on the Remove User icon at the bottom of the list. And voila! You're all set to go. Now when you decide to uninstall an app, you will also see an option to remove app for all users on Android Lollipop. So give it a try and let us know what you think.
