The Order: 1886 has been rated by the ESRB, revealing some new details of the game in the process. The rating details how players can go through Victorian England dismembering their foes using the fantastical weapons given to them by none other than Nicola Tesla.
The Order: 1886, accurately portrays the Victorian London setting, bringing with it some activities that were quite popular in that period.

Rating Summary: This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of a soldier in the Victorian era London. As players progress through the storyline to unfold a mystery, they use pistols, rifles, grenades, and fantastical weapons (e.g., electric arc gun) to kill human enemies and Lycan (i.e., werewolf creatures). Players can also employ stealth attacks (e.g., slitting throats) to dispatch enemies. Firefights are accompanied by realistic gunfire, explosions, and splashes of red blood. Some explosives cause dismemberment; mutilated bodies, with exposed viscera, are also depicted. Cutscenes also depict intense acts of violence: a character stabbed repeatedly in the chest and throat; a character shot in the head at close range; a man chained to a tub and repeatedly dunked and punched by guards. During the course of the game, players can visit a brothel that depicts prostitutes with exposed breasts. One brothel sequence depicts a topless woman gyrating on top of a man—the sex act is partially obscured. There is also a fleeting depiction of male genitalia in the game. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” can be heard in the dialogue.

It could potentially help in immersing the player into the game by keeping the depiction of its setting as accurate as possible, without holding back. I have already mentioned multiple times that I am really looking forward the The Order: 1886, as I am a big fan of the Victorian London setting, also to be the playground in Assassin's Creed Victory. Whereas, Victory will feature a more accurately portrayal of the time period, The Order: 1886 will have a focus in an alternate reality Victorian England, that will likely offer some exciting fantasy twists. The Order: 1886 launches exclusively for the PlayStation 4 platform on February 20th.
