Like component leaks on the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus before it, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy is turning out to be one device that is too eager to make benchmark appearances. The device has made two appearances already, on Antutu and GeekBench respectively. In both of these appearances, the Galaxy S6 managed to shatter previous records. and true to its form, it seems to have done the same today with more GeekBench results having surfaced.

If all these benchmarks appearances are taken for their word, then the Galaxy S6 will be one good performing device indeed. Today's scores for single and multi core results are 1485 and 5375 respectively. If you remember, the last GeekBench entries for the Galaxy S6 that we received had scores of 1492 and 5077. The slight discrepancy in single core figures shouldn't change much on the device, while the 300 point increase in multi core scores does show the device's potential; the Galaxy S6 has already topped Apple's iPad Air 2 in previous benchmark scores and today's increase only ends up solidifing the device's lead. Previous scores can be seen below.

Today's GeekBench entry also ends up shedding some more light on the device's other specifications. Asides from the Exynos 7420, the Galaxy S6 Edge will also be coming with Android 5.0.2 and 3 GB of RAM on board. All of these end up making for a very exciting device indeed. Everything will be crystal clear this March, when Samsung unveils both the variants of the Galaxy S6 at the MWC due to be held in Barcelona, Spain.
