SamMobile, one of the major Samsung insiders around has provided us with some detailed specifications of what we should expect on the rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab S upgrades. According to the site's insiders, the Galaxy Tab S2 will be launched in two variants. These will be with screen sizes of 8 and 9.7 inches respectively. These will consist of the same specifications as expected, apart from the battery size. The 9.7 inch variant of the Galaxy Tab S2 will come with a battery of 5870 mAh while the 8 inch variant will have a battery of capacity 3580 mAh.

Both the Galaxy Tab S2 variants will also be getting the upgrade to Samsung's latest SoC, the Exynos 7420. Given their rather impressive battery speculations, the 14nm processor should see battery times for the Tab S2 variants to be strong indeed. The Galaxy Tab S2 duo will also feature rear cameras with a resolution of 8 MP and front camera modules of 2.1 MP. This will be supplemented with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Internal storage on the devices can further be expanded through microSD to a capacity of 128 GB.

Samsung's also looking to go completely over the top as the Galaxy Tab S2 variants are expected to come with a complete metal frame. Whether the devices will come featuring a metal body is unknown for now, but the rest of the specifications do put the Galaxy Tab S2 duo to be quite impressive indeed. Particularly, if Samsung manages to keep the thickness of the devices at 5.4 inches then we could be seeing some remarkable devices indeed. Only time will tell how things turn out however, as the company already has its hands full with the upcoming Galaxy S6 launches at MWC. Stay tuned. We'll keep you updated.
