Latest Galaxy S6 Teaser By Samsung Hints On Metal Amongst Other Things
Samsung's teaser for the Galaxy S6 once again confirms that the Korean giant has indeed chosen to move towards metal as the material of choice on its upcoming Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones. Apart from metal, if you've taken a look at the video above, you'll have noticed several other cryptic hints as well. A bit that managed to capture our attention in particular was the part about 'colors will live'. It could suggest either towards the Galaxy S6 having several color options, or the most likely part about the device's resolution being top notch, as is the case with Samsung's flagships and other devices in general.
Other specifications rumored for the Galaxy S6 include Samsung's in-house Exynos 7420 as the device's SoC highlighting a parting of ways between the Korean electronics giant and its traditional partner for mobile processor, Qualcomm. The latter's Snapdragon 810 has reportedly given Samsung some heating issues during testing, providing the device maker an excellent opportunity to market its own Exynos series of processors, which boast sufficient performance specifications to stand up on their own. The Galaxy S6 is also expected to come with a modest 2600 mAh battery pack, suggesting Samsung's seeming confidence on its 14nm chipset as well as the software optimizations on its upcoming devices. All will become clear sooner than later as the company will officially launch the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 on the 1st of next month in Barcelona, so stay tuned.
