After the processor, screen size, resolution, storage, design, camera and other details of the Samsung Galaxy S6 to have surfaced, its time for the device's antenna to get a little attention from us. As you all know by know, Samsung has finally made the shift to metal as the choice of material for its Galaxy flagship meaning that you will now be able to enjoy that premium look and feel should you choose to purchase the upcoming flagship. Well, all the metal means all the more interference when it comes to receiving and sending calls on the smartphone, so (thankfully) it seems like Samsung's chosen an all new antenna for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

As expected from a manufacture of its size and stature, Samsung seems to be leaving no strings untied for its upcoming flagships. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge have seen a massive hype buildup prior to their launch in just six days at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The devices will be coming with a metal body that has been confirmed on all accounts so far, and seems like Samsung has kept the likely signal interference generated by it in mind.

The Galaxy S6 will be seeing a switch from Laser Direct Structuring to Flexible Printed Circuit Board for its choice of antenna. Without getting into the technical details, you can be assured that this will result in minimum signal distortion on the device and you'll be be able to make your calls as smoothly as possible. In addition to this, the antenna on the Samsung Galaxy S6 will fine tuned for the device's various functions such as wireless connectivity, cellular and Near Field Communication.
