Grand Theft Auto V – New Radio Station Coming To PC First

The Grand Theft Auto series has been known for its wide variety of music available, and Grand Theft Auto V was no different. There is talk that the PC version coming next month, will get a brand new radio station.

The new station, 'The Lab' will be made available first on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V

Rockstar Games and Mass Appeal Records have partnered with The Alchemist and Oh No for a new soundtrack album for Grand Theft Auto V, titled  'The Alchemist and Oh No Present: Welcome to Los Santos.' The new soundtrack will feature music from Earl Sweatshirt, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe and Samuel T. Herring. The album will also get a store release on April 21st.

 "The Alchemist and Oh No weave together a musical journey that covers every corner of the fictional world of Grand Theft Auto V and features guests from across the musical spectrum--including Earl Sweatshirt, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe, and Samuel T. Herring (from Future Islands)," Rockstar says.

The new station, 'The Lab' will be made available first on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, and release later on the consoles at a later, yet unspecified date. The album tracks will also be included in the PC Rockstar Editor, for use on custom-made videos. Rockstar has also hinted that it’ll continue to introduce new music to the game, and has asked players to stay tuned for updates.

Grand Theft Auto V is stated for an April 14th release for the PC. You can listen to the album's single ‘Play It Cool’ by Gangrene (The Alchemist and Oh No) featuring Samuel T. Herring (from Future Islands) and Earl Sweatshirt, above or over at SoundCloud's website.
