As you might remember that earlier, we brought you news about the street fighter V being an exclusive to the PS4 and the PC platform. The news was broke out before it was planned when on the night of the announcement of the PlayStation experience event, a video was set live about hours earlier, showing  the new addition to the Street fighter series as an exclusive to the PS4 and PC platform. The Xbox fans were annoyed by this reveal and said that they'd rather play the game on PC over 1600p/4k than on a console. You can read more about the previous release here.

We Finally Have a Release Windows for Street Fighter V

According to Gamespot, Street fighter V has finally been assigned a released window. In a blog post regarding its PAX East merchandise, Capcom said:

"Everyone is fired up for Street Fighter V coming to the PS4 and PC next spring."

As of now, no official release date has been set by Capcom but Amazon and Best Buy have set an unofficial release date of March 31, 2016.

The game was announced as a release for PC and the PS4 in december at the PlayStation Experience event  and more recently, news about a new playable character and the games beta has been revealed a couple of weeks ago. The new character is Charlie Nash who has been a fan favourite ever since his mention in Street Fighter II as a lieutenant in the U.S. Air force and one of Guile's best friends. More on his return has yet to be revealed by Capcom but his announcement trailer showed that he had some very good tricks up his sleeve to give the other characters a run for their money. In the trailer, he is shown going head to head with Chun Li and Ryu, dishing out a beating for both of them. However, the gameplay for the new character isn't very smooth but we expect that more developments will be made until the final release which will normally results different than the initial plans.

Apart from the release of a new character, the information regarding the games beta was also posted earlier on the PlayStation blog where it claims that the beta will be the "largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history." In full context, it said:

"The second piece of news is perhaps the most exciting of all. Also announced today, we will be performing the largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history with Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC! These tests will be essential to collect your feedback and to ensure that Street Fighter V is the best iteration yet. In North America, players who pre-order the game will automatically be enrolled into the beta program.

More details, including timing on the beta program will be revealed in the future so stay tuned for updates. Until then, SONIC BOOM!"

So go ahead and pre order your Street Fighter V for a place in the beta program. Street Fighter V looks very promising but unfortunately it won't be available for Xbox One gamers.
