Star Wars Battlefront – Gameplay Reveal Might Be Coming Next Month

EA closed a huge deal with Disney, back in 2013, giving them the exclusive rights to publish all Star Wars titles. So far there has been no reveals from EA of any new titles save for Star Wars Battlefront, but we are aware that at least two more titles are in development.

The chances of getting to see some of them soon have definitely rose up, as EA has been added to the official Star Wars Celebration Exhibitors List.

Star Wars Celebration is a convention celebrating the massive franchise, featuring four days of exhibits, panels, autograph sessions, exclusive merchandise and screenings. The convention will take place next month in Anaheim, California.

There have been rumors that a Star Wars Battlefront gameplay reveal might be coming before E3 2015

There have been rumors that EA isn't waiting for E3 to show off Battlefront gameplay. Instead they might be planning the reveal for spring, with Star Wars Battlefront being playable later this year at  E3. Given the recent behind closed doors presentation that the game had, which gathered some great impressions, it would make sense that a public reveal shouldn't be too far off.

Star Wars Celebration, would be the perfect place for the gameplay footage reveal. An entire convention full of Star Wars dedicated fans could certainly prove to be the perfect occasion. Ea has not commented so far on the subject, but as DICE was demoing the game for Gamestop employees, it could be assumed that Star Wars Battlefront in some kind of playable state.

EA, at last year's E3, stated that we would see more of Star Wars Battlefront in Spring 2015. This even though does not warrant an appearance at the convention, given that we haven't seen anything so far makes it a possibility. In addition to Battlefront we are aware that EA is publishing Star Wars games developed by Visceral and Bioware. Since there has been no information regarding these two titles  however, a possible E3 reveal is more likely.

This year’s Star Wars Celebration will take place on April 16-19. Tickets are on sale now.

We will bring you more information on Star Wars Battlefront, as well any news on EA's Star Wars related projects as soon as it becomes available.
