A new trailer for the next DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, which will be called Ascendance, has been released. And it shows off some new maps and even some additions to the single player zombie story as well.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance trailer shows us new maps and additions to the zombie storyline.

March 31st 2015 is the release date for the next DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. It'll bring with it 4 new and exciting maps that each have unique themes and features. And there'll also be a really unique shotgun/LMG combo weapon, the OHM-Werewolf, that looks like it'll work wonders on the zombie horde.

Perplex will be a map that's set on what looks like a modular home site with moving containers and a morphing level. Climate features a high desert landscape with floating ships/cities and a sewer system for intense close-quarters action. Chop shop is exactly that, set around a chop shop deep in the city. Site 244 is a map that's set just underneath Mt. Rushmore at the site of a crashed alien ship.

Also making its introduction is the grapple mode, giving you the ability to shoot a grappling hook to augment the already versatile exo-suit abilities. You can even use the grapple to skewer your enemies, Scorpion style!

Don't think that the high production value Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare style single player story mode has been neglected either. The zombie horde storyline looks to be continuing with the help of big time actors like John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jogn Bernthal to help keep your belief suspended.

The new Ascendance DLC is going to be the second of four total DLC packs and will be a timed exclusive for the Xbox platforms, though it will most definitely be coming to the PS4 and PS3 after an indeterminate amount of time. You can find it for $14.99 on the Xbox Live store if you don't have the season pass.
