Nintendo has seen fit to release more in-game screenshots as well as concept art of Xenoblade Chronicles X.

The art style and the graphics themselves are shaping up to to be quite spectacular. I think that they've chosen a great art direction that captures the essence of the Xeno series, past and present. Hopefully the graphics engine will help to capture and present to us an atmosphere that is both enjoyable and challenging.

The Xeno saga is full of dynamic characters, an enthralling story and thus Xenoblade Chronicles X has the potential to be one of the best games of this year. I remember being practically hypnotized by the original Xenogears when it was released in 1998. It was as much an entertaining game as it was a philosophical journey into deep concepts that I had no idea about at the time.

While Xenoblade Chronicles X is not a direct successor to that story line, it nonetheless should be able to continue the tradition that was set by the original. It'll take you on a journey of survival and discovery while your party explores the new world of Mira.

Xenoblade Chronicles X will be available  only on the Wii U on the 29th of April in Japan and should be released in North American sometime after that, with no definite NA release date as of yet.
