Shortly after the announcement of Xperia Z4, Japanese phone maker Sony has officially announced its international smartphone, Xperia Z3+, which is going to be sold to all regions that Sony intends on selling. While smartphones is one department where the tech company is having trouble garnering sufficient number of sales, the firm is able to make up for that through the sales of its consoles, and of course smartphone camera sensors. Similar to Xperia Z4, Xperia Z3+ features a Snapdragon 810, although details have not been specified as to which version has been incorporated in the latest flagship handset.

Xperia Z3+ Features A Snapdragon 810 SoC, Two Day Battery Life, 4K Video Recording Support And PS4 Remote Play2

Currently, Xiaomi’s Mi Note Pro is one smartphone that is fitted with the latest version of Snapdragon 810 (which happens to be v1.3). While there were rumors that the latest version was plagued with overheating issues, it was finally reported that version 1.3 is the fastest and most energy efficiency chipset compared to its predecessors. Unfortunately, GSMDome has not provided details if the handset is running the latest mobile chipset variant, and with its pricing details unavailable in the loop as well, it will be difficult for us to recommend its purchase.

Xperia Z3+ does however, comply with IP65/68 standards, making it water and dust proof, respectively. At the rear side of the chassis, you will be able to witness a 20.7 MP rear shooter and given the fact that the camera sensor belongs to Sony, it will be able to produce embellished photographs. A 5 MP front camera will complement the rear one, and attract the selfie-eccentric crowd as well. Xperia Z3+ features a 5.2 inch screen size that radiates a 1080p resolution. Details on its overall battery have not been provided, but according to the website, Sony states that the device will last for two whole days.

Since the device features an upper-end Snapdragon SoC, Xperia Z3+ will be compatible with the Quick Charge 2.0 feature, assuming Sony has bundled in a Quick Charge 2.0 compatible charger. Additionally, the device is assimilated with a Cat 6 LTE modem, and provides support for PS4 Remote Play2. PS4 Remote Play2 is a feature that will allow you to connect the handset to your PlayStation 4 and play remotely in the house; sounds neat doesn’t it? As for availability, the source states that Xperia Z3+ will be available to purchase during sometime in June.

Assuming that you are one of those consumers who display a magnetic propensity towards smartphones that feature a powerful camera sensor; in that sort of position, Xperia Z3+ will be the perfect choice for you. Just make sure that you have sufficient funds to purchase it since the handset will not be stamped with a cheap price tag.
