Sales of Batman Arkham Knight PC version have been suspended by Rocksteady Studios which issued an apology statement to the gaming community for the badly optimised PC port. The developers will re-release the game once the patch for the game is complete and the game is in stable condition. Part of the statement by Warner Bros. reads:

We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards. We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall......

Additionally, the developers have also offered to refund the game to anyone who is dissatisfied and does not want the game as it's release might have been suspended to Fall 2015. Their official page is updated with the following statement:

Coming to SteamOS, Linux & Mac Batman: Arkham Knight will be available on SteamOS, Linux and Mac in Fall 2015. ABOUT THIS GAME: Batman™: Arkham Knight brings the award-winning Arkham trilogy from Rocksteady Studios to its epic conclusion.
