Beats 1 Kicks Off At 9 AM PT, One Hour After iOS 8.4 Release

iOS 8.4 is on verge to be announced and music fans around the globe are urging to try Apple's Music Streaming service. The launch schedule drops to an 8 AM launch on Tuesday which is two hours earlier than Apple's traditional launch of iOS updates. Since the update focuses on the Apple Music debut, the Beats 1 is set to start programming an hour after the launch.

For those who are unfamiliar with Beats 1, it is a radio station set to provide worldwide music streaming 24 hours a day. The station will be hosted by Zane Lowe, a former BBC DJ and there will be a wide array of music and interviews selected by well know personalities like Dr. Dre, Elton John, Drake and Pharrell. More is yet to come as the launch nears in.

Song Limit To Be Increased To 100,000 In iOS 9

More on Apple Music, the subscription fee rests to $9.99 per month for a single user and $14.99 for a family of up to 6 members. However, Beats 1 radio station is free to use for all people who have the service available. The service will be launched on 30th June and the next three months after activation are free to use. Apple has been generous to artists, labels and publishers for compensated payments on the free trial period.

Moreover, there is an additional news poured by Eddy Cue on Twitter about the song limit on Apple Music. Apple's Senior Vice President explained that iTunes Music and Apple Music works in a similar manner in terms of matching, recognition and uploading song processes, so there is no need for users to subscribe to both services to get all of the features.

In the current version of iOS, Apple is said to put the song library at the same mark of 25,000 as that of iTunes Music. However, Cue further said that with the arrival of the iOS 9, works in progress to raise that mark to a 100,000. This will not only increase the number of songs in library but users get to have additional features that come with it.
