War Thunder: Cold Steel brings a massive amount of new vehicles, balance enhancements and a new snow-covered map to explore, and blow up.

The most complete WWII simulator just got more complete. It already has a record in the Guinness Book of World Records  for the number of in-game aircraft you can fly, and now that's getting even harder to surpass. This update has 28 new vehicles for you, including the T-34, Leopard I and even the gorgeous M60 tank.

Finally winter is coming for War Thunder with a map based in Finland. The environment is a very realistic model of an area close to modern day Imatra in Finland. It's a completely frozen hinterland for you to enjoy destroying, or saving. You're pick.

A new game mode is also being introduced, called Enduring Confrontation. This new mode can be played in both the realistic and simulation based battles. What's great is that the only way to win is by completing the victory objective. You'll be able to respawn an unlimited amount of times. Can you imagine how long matches can potentially be?

But there are plenty more enhancements to War Thunder to be had as well. Nearly all the aircraft have small changes in their physics and flight models to make them more easier to control and more realistic. Overall, update 1.51 is helping to reviatallize an already excellent game.

The full change log can be found here.

War Thunder is a free-to-play, cross-platform, MMO that can be played on PC, PS4, Mac, Linux and Android. This WWII military simulator allows players to fight their way across the air and ground in almost 600 historically accurate planes and armored vehicles from WWII and the Korean War. Gaijin Entertainment is committed to the continued development of their game and promise to keep adding more vehicles and further enhancements in the future.
