More and more details have started to surface surrounding Samsung's expected portfolio for the remainder of 2015. The Korean manufacturer is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus later this year, and both the devices are expected to come with impressive specifications so far. The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is expected to utilize Qualcomm's hexa core Snapdragon 808, also present on the LG G4, while the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to come with the Exynos 7422 on board. Samsung's Galaxy Note 5 To Come With 5.67 Super AMOLED Display
Sammobile's been really busy today, and courtesy of their sources, we've manged to unearth some more details about the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Galaxy Note 5. Both the devices will have several similarities it's being reported today. The Note 5 and the S6 Edge Plus will be coming with a screen size of 5.67 inches, with Super AMOLED display of resolution 2560 x 1440. As also reported earlier, the Galaxy Note 5 won't be coming with an edged variant this time around. Samsung seems to be looking at providing its unique curved display only for its flagship smartphones now, as the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus' name suggests.
They'll also be coming with glass backs, similar to the Galaxy S6 Duo launched earlier this year, so it might be safe to assume that we can say goodbye to removable backs, replaceable batteries and microSD card slots on Samsung's top tier gadgets. The Exynos on the Note 5 is a unique offering for a processor, as it combines various elements of performance in a single package. Both the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Note 5 will also be available in four color options, namely black, gold, silver and white, so you'd have plenty of options to choose from.
