Looks like OnePlus is quite eager to show off nearly everything related to the OnePlus 2 before the device's launch on the 27th of this month. The OnePlus 2 has been officially confirmed to be coming with the Snapdragon 810 on board, a USB Type-C connector port and an all metal body as well. Today, some official camera samples belonging to the device have surfaced as well, and these have been compared to none other than the Samsung Galaxy S6 by the company.

OnePlus 2 Official Camera Samples Compared To Those From The Samsung Galaxy S6

So far the OnePlus 2 is expected to come with a rear camera sensor of resolution 13 MP. And looks like the company is quite eager to show off its capabilities. The samples that have surfaced today have been compared to the Galaxy S6 in macro mode, as can be seen in the images above. By the looks of things, the OnePlus 2 is able to better reproduce color and lead towards overall sharper looking images.

Details also seem to be much more better captured by the OnePlus 2, as can be seen in the image above. Looks like OnePlus has realized the importance of a good camera sensor on any smartphone, and flagship devices in more particular. Smartphones after all have played a major role in the demise of point and shoot cameras, and the OnePlus 2 won't be going light on this specification either.

When compared to the Galaxy S6, the OnePlus 2's images turn out to be much more sharper and realistic looking and include much better details as indicated above as well. Samsung and the rest are going to have some tough competition this year it seems, and OnePlus should also end up making a much larger impact this time around than it did with its last and only flagship launch. We'll find out more about the device soon enough. Till then, stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
