After users reported these driver conflict issues on Reddit and other forums, Nvidia released new drivers to fix the issue. The latest released 353.63 drivers reportedly fix all the Windows 10 driver problems. You can have these latest drivers installed on your computer directly via Windows 10 update or you can choose to download them manually.
- Go to Windows Update and install package KB3073930 while checking the "prevent the problematic driver or update from reinstalling automatically the next time Windows Updates are installed" box.
To manually download the updated drivers, follow these steps.
- Type this URL into a web browser of your liking: http://www.geforce.com/drivers.
- Scroll down to Manual Driver Search and enter your computer's configuration > click on Start Search.
- Download the Nvidia drivers (v353.62) with Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) certification having a release date of 29 July.
- Once downloaded, right-click on the downloaded file and run it as an administrator from the context menu.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to install the latest and updated Nvidia drivers for your computer.
- Once done, don't forget to restart your machine.
