Exynos 7430 Hero Is Going To Succeed Exynos 7420 And Will Most Likely Be Found In Galaxy S7

Coming all the way from China, the next chipset to be present in Samsung’s upcoming mobile devices is going to be called the Exynos 7430 Hero. Looks like we will finally stop referring to it as Mongoose or M1 and call it by its original name.

Coming to the specifications of the chipset that is going to succeed Exynos 7420, we already know that the upcoming SoC is going to be feature Samsung’s custom cores, and from the information that we have gathered so far, it is not going to sport an octa-core processor like its predecessor. Instead, it is going to sport a quad-core CPU.

The clock speed of each core running in the chipset is going to be set at 2.4 GHz, so you can expect a lot of performance coming from Exynos 7430 Hero. Since the chipset is most likely going to appear in Galaxy S7 in 2016, it is going to be manufactured on the company’s 14nm FinFET architecture. 10nm FinFET chips are going to appear in smartphones during 2017, so we should not expect the upcoming chipset to boast a smaller lithographic process.
