Big news for everyone, as an iOS 9 jailbreak has just been demoed on video. iOS 9 final is set for release on the 16th of September.
The video of the jailbreak comes from reputable hacker and developer iH8sn0w, and he performs the long-awaited feat on an iPhone 5 smartphone. Rather than diving into the details all of a sudden, check out the video below directly yourselves:

As you can see from the video, iOS 9 boots up with a custom boot logo, apart from that code injection is also displayed as well as Cydia.

Worth noting, iOS 9+ arm64 iDevices now enforce a checksum on __TEXT/DATA.const regions of the kernel through the use of TrustZone. Modifying said sections will cause the device to panic (either at kernel or EL3 will force a reboot if the kernel refused to gracefully panic). Essentially, it’s KPP (Kernel Patch Protection). You can race it though if you want to play with things. Just be quick! ;P
Also, there should technically now be two additional partitions (baseband_data [s1s3] and logs [s1s4]) but didn’t really bother with those as they weren’t critical.
In case you're wondering, the jailbreak was achieved on the iOS 9 GM build, further adding weight to the fact that there's a possibility that the final version of Cupertino's mobile firmware will be jailbreakable as well. And given how things stand on iOS 8.4.1, which saw Apple patching all the exploits that were needed by TaiG in order to work, today's video is a huge breakthrough for those who are die-hard fans of jailbreaking.
Most people are usually interested in the jailbreak itself rather than a video that shows it off. And given the early state of the iOS 9 jailbreak, we have no word whether this would be ever released or not, or this is just a work in progress which would eventually lead up to the real deal. At this point, we can't comment on that.
While Apple has been hard at work making the lives of jailbreakers as miserable as possible by patching all the loopholes, the Pangu team on the other hand, has been making strides on its own, and was the first one ever to show off an iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak on iPhone 6. Furthermore, it was just a few days back the team even showcased all the kernel vulnerabilities that were required to perform the iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak as well. Pangu team however, also revealed that said kernel vulnerabilities had been patched in the fifth beta of iOS 9, but if the above video is anything to go by, then it's a clear sign that the jailbreak community will keep on thriving now matter how many spanners Apple keeps on tossing into the machine.
