Apple has revealed its free 'App of the Week,' and the title is called Shadowmatic, which usually costs $2.99 if you pick it up on a regular day.

Every week, Apple puts up an app or a game up for grabs which usually commands a premium price tag on a regular day. This time around, it's Shadowmatic moment to take the free crown for one whole week, and you can pick it up the title right away without incurring any sort of cost.

From the App Store:

Shadowmatic is an imagination-stirring puzzle where you rotate abstract objects in a spotlight to find recognizable silhouettes in projected shadows, relevant to the surrounding environment.

The game combines stunning visuals with relaxing and captivating gameplay.

On your journey to discover the right solution you will stumble upon many unexpected and infinitely varied silhouettes.

The game features 10 rooms, each flavored with unique concept, atmosphere, and music.

Having taken the title for a spin on our iPhone, we have to admit, we are impressed by what it has to offer. And quite frankly, while there are many apps that provide loads of fun and entertainment for a short span of time, it's likely that Shadowmatic won't lose its appeal as quickly as others.
