Like any new major software release from Apple, iOS 9 comes loaded with a bunch of issues which users are facing. There are a multitude of problems that are surfacing as time goes by, with the 'Slide to Upgrade' screen not going away after upgrading to iOS 9 being one of them. Luckily, Apple has published an article outlining the fix and it goes like this.

Fix iOS 9 Slide To Upgrade Screen Not Going Away Issue

Use these steps:

1. Connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes.
2. Select your device. If you don't see it listed, force restart your device by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home button for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
3. If you made an iTunes backup of your device before updating to iOS 9, restore your device from that backup. If not, you need to make a backup of your device in iTunes, then restore from that backup.

Following the above mentioned steps should instantly fix the issue, as outlined by Apple itself. But it rather boggles our mind knowing that such an issue exists and Apple let it slip under its radar. Still, rather than pushing out a point update to fix the issue, which would've taken at least a week, it's good to see that the Cupertino tech giant has responded in a swift fashion with a workaround.

We're sitting at the first ever end user release of iOS 9, and such issues are bound to happen on some scale. And given that Cupertino's new mobile firmware is going to be with us for a full year, expect a bunch of fixes and improvements to arrive in the near future.

Speaking of updates, Apple is already working on iOS 9.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and while the update does not bring with it anything new on the face of things, many users are reporting that the new pre-release software is very stable compared to the current iOS 9 public release.
